Complaints Policy Statement
The St. Andrews and Area Open Door Program is committed to providing respectful, reliable support to our community. We recognize that from time to time, there may be questions, concerns, or complaints, and we believe everyone has the right to share them.
We are equally committed to responding in a timely, fair, and respectful manner. Anyone raising a concern should feel safe doing so, without fear of reprisal or negative consequences. This policy ensures we handle all feedback consistently and in line with our values and mission.

Complaints may relate to, but are not limited to:
Programs and services
Food distribution and access
Volunteer or staff interactions
Donations and fundraising activities
General operations or communication
All concerns, questions, and complaints will be handled by a member of our team.
When addressing concerns or complaints:
Privacy and confidentiality will be respected at all times
We will acknowledge receipt of a complaint as soon as possible, and no later than three days after it is received
We will make every effort to review and respond within ten business days
We value feedback from our community and use it as an opportunity to improve and better serve those who rely on our support.
